Living things are different from nonliving things.
In Minecraft there are various living things: the player, pigs, sheep, cows, trees, grass, etc. There are also many nonliving resources/things, stone, wood, shelters, etc.
Students can discuss the differences in these things and classify whether they think an object is living or nonliving. They can then discuss the purposes of these items to extend the lesson. All things are needed to survive but you can get food from a pig, but cannot eat wood, etc.
