Life Science

Living things have basic needs, which are met by obtaining materials from the physical environment.

Gameplay is dependent on students using any resources they can find in the world to help them survive. Students may have to make a shelter, so they have to chop wood in order to make a home. This easily lends itself to conversations about how we depend on those materials being there for us and how we change the environment to survive.

Another example would be talking about the animals being a source of food. Pigs and chickens can give us food that we need to survive, but how does this impact the environment? Will there be enough food for us to live a long time?
