Counting & Cardinality

1. Count to 100 by ones and by tens.

Most of the math lessons can be done by using blocks of any kind, I recommend wool blocks in different colors, instead of manipulative blocks.

For example, this standard can be accomplished by having students count to 100 using white blocks as 100. They can place 100 white blocks of wool and count as they put them down.

Then they can use blue wool blocks that stand for 1 10s block and count to 100 by 10s as they place the blocks around the screen.

This is best done in a superflat world on creative mode.
